Job Description

Freelance Contract Opportunity with a global leader as part of a team of 3 on client site with one of the world's largest pharmaceutical organisations.

LIMS Consultant

12 month day rate contract, Carlow

Reporting to the LIMS Centre of Excellence Head the successful consultant will join a team of LIMS Consultants tasked with configuring LabWare LIMS and completing minor development of Lab Informatics Systems.

Using your in-depth knowledge of LabWare Lims you will interact with the Project Team, Business Representatives and Quality Assurance teams to gain an understanding of the scope and purpose of the organisation's business process work stream. In addition, you will ensure that all GxP Systems are audit ready.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a client facing role and experience in the pharmaceutical domain.

Additional Requirements include

  • Very good experience of LIMS application development- Interfacing, Upgrade and validation.
  • Hands on experience on requirement gathering and configuration/development of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) e.g. LabWare (preferably V6/7 expertise)
  • Experience in Labware Modules like LIMS Stability, EM, Inventory, Storage Location Management, Instrument Interfaces, Lot, Sample Management for Clinical Trial & Manufacturing Domain
  • Ability to solve technical issues in Labware LIMS, including Interfaces to ERP, Label Printing Software, MDM and all modules
  • Good Knowledge on Labware Database Structure, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL & SAP Crystal Reports
  • Hands on experience in SDLC and Agile model delivery & in ITIL and ITSM process integrations.
  • Conduct GxP Analysis, Gap/Risk Assessment
  • Experience with risk-based approaches for IT Application development.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an unstructured environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
