Quality Co-ordinator
Location: Westport
Reporting To: Quality Manager
Overview
Our client is looking for an organized, motivated, and detail-focused Quality Co-ord to join a
dynamic Quality Assurance team. This individual will collaborate closely with the Quality
Manager and Assistant Quality Manager to help manage quality operations, improve system
efficiencies, address customer concerns, and ensure adherence to quality regulations and
procedures.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
● Compile and refresh performance and quality metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
● Deliver key data and reporting insights to sales and business leadership
● Handle and resolve day-to-day quality-related customer inquiries
● Log and monitor internal and external non-conformances using quality management software (e.g., Q-Pulse)
● Assist with both internal inspections and external customer quality audits
● Oversee document updates and manage procedural content in the quality system
● Work cross-functionally with management and service teams to resolve quality concerns
● Track and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs)
● Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including preparing meeting materials and documentation
● Administer internal calibration tracking and support document control functions
● Contribute to food safety initiatives and support the evaluation of new raw materials (where applicable)
● Make informed quality decisions in the absence of QA leadership
What We're Looking For
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word (e.g., charts, workflow diagrams)
● Excellent eye for detail and a quality-focused mindset
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Comfortable multitasking and working under pressure
● Experience with Q-Pulse or similar digital quality platforms is advantageous
