We have a fantastic opportunity for a bright and ambitious recent graduate for a Trainee Accountant position with an Accountancy firm based in Dublin 14. This role provides exceptional exposure, hands‑on experience, and ample room for professional growth within a supportive and reputable practice.

As a Trainee Accountant, you will work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors such as legal, technology, charity, engineering, and more. You will gain practical experience across core accounting functions while progressing toward your ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification, supported by the firm's structured training programme.

Salary: €30,000-€35,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Supporting bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and day-to-day finance functions
• Assisting with VAT returns, payroll processing, and financial reporting
• Working closely with clients to collect information and resolve queries
• Supporting senior accountants with accounts and tax assignments
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards

What You'll Need:

• Minimum of 0-3 years accounting experience.
• Looking pursing professional qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong academic background with relevant bachelor's degree.
• Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of team working.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and other departments.
