Our client, a global, fast-paced commercial organisation are looking for a Tax Manager to join their finance function.
The role reports directly to the Finance Director and will have end-to-end responsibility for tax compliance and reporting, while also playing a key role in shaping and implementing the local tax strategy in line with business objectives.

The Role:
You will oversee all tax and compliance matters for the Irish entity, managing both direct and indirect tax requirements across multiple business scenarios. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors and offers a high level of autonomy and visibility within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full Irish tax compliance across all business activities
- Manage VAT returns and VAT compliance, including fiscal representation matters
- Prepare and submit Intrastat and other statutory and statistical reports
- Support corporate tax calculations in collaboration with external advisors
- Coordinate transfer pricing documentation with external specialists
- Review supplier and customer contracts from a tax and compliance perspective
- Reconcile tax balance sheet accounts and support accurate tax reporting
- Respond to ad hoc business queries on the tax implications of transactions
- Support the wider finance team during month-end and other reporting activities
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external advisors
Requirements:
- Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualified, or similar professional qualification (ACA/ACCA).
- Experience in a multinational organisation or Big 4 tax practice
- Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect tax, particularly VAT
- Experience working with external advisors and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working autonomously
- High level of integrity, professionalism and communication skills
