Senior Financial Accountant - Tech - Fully Remote (Optional)

A leading Global Tech organisation is looking for a Senior Intercompany Accountant with strong technical knowledge to join their team.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will work as part of the Intercompany Accounting team in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This role is a fully remote position with the option to work from the office if required. The office is based in Dublin city centre.

This is a 9 month contract position, with strong potential of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Own the monthly intercompany close including preparation of intercompany journal entries and resolution of intercompany out-of-balances
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations including investigation and documentation of variances
• Support end-to-end intercompany operations, including invoice creation and intercompany settlements
• Support group consolidation submissions including preparation of intercompany schedules
• Ensure SOX compliance through the execution of intercompany controls and ensuring control documentation is maintained.
• Support Compliance and Internal Audit with audit requests as they arise.
• Work closely with Tax, Transfer Pricing and Legal to ensure that intercompany transactions are compliant with approved policies and legal agreements.
• Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
• Suggest, design and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency
• Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Requirements:

• 5+ years Post Qualified experience, including multinational experience
• Strong technical accounting skills, with a particular focus on intercompany accounting and eliminations
• Proven track record of owning a month-end close area end-to-end, operating within a SOX environment and working cross functionally
