A senior leadership opportunity to take ownership of Damage Claims operations within a large, complex environment.
Reporting to the Head of Claims, this role has end-to-end accountability for operational performance, service delivery, and people leadership across Damage Claims. You will lead experienced management teams, drive performance against service, quality, customer and cost outcomes, and play a key role in shaping the future claims operating model through simplification, digital enablement, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day claims operations across personal and commercial Damage portfolios
- Translate strategy into clear operational plans and measurable outcomes
- Drive performance across service levels, settlement timeliness, quality, customer experience, and cost
- Lead, develop, and retain high-performing management teams
- Oversee outsourced partners and vendor performance
- Champion simplified, customer-focused claims journeys
- Play a senior role in claims transformation and digital initiatives
About You
- Senior experience leading claims operations or claims teams at scale
- Strong claims handling and/or operational leadership background (Damage preferred)
- Proven track record delivering performance and leading change
- Experience managing service, quality, and financial KPIs
- Professional insurance or claims qualification (APA, CIP, ACII or equivalent)
