Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner with a leading global investment bank currently seeking a high-caliber professional for an Operations & Governance Manager role. This is a 15-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will act as a vital link between global product lines and regional regulatory requirements, balancing technical execution with robust governance.
Operations Oversight: Manage daily core operations including cash equities, fixed income, and settlements. Overseeing cash management, wire/payment reviews, and liquidity funding via CBI (Target2).
Governance & SLAs: Provide independent challenge and oversight of intragroup services and global SLAs. Manage the Dublin business's service consumption across various product lines, ensuring all global agreements align with local standards.
Regulatory & Resilience: Lead CBI regulatory processes, including minimum reserve (MRR) management and OSII reporting. Act as the primary lead for Operational Resilience (DORA/EBA compliance) and Business Continuity testing.
Professional Background: Significant tenure within banking or capital markets operations, specifically in a heavily regulated environment.
Functional Proficiency: Deep expertise in CBI/EBA outsourcing frameworks, liquidity financing, and the nuances of post-trade control environments.
Technical Agility: Proficiency in leveraging AI and Copilot tools to streamline workflows, refine governance documentation, and enhance data analysis.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate consensus across cross-functional teams; this is an individual contributor role requiring a strong "control mindset" without direct people management.
