    About the Role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Administrator / Medical Secretary to join a growing private healthcare clinic in South Dublin. This role is ideal for an organised and personable individual who enjoys working in a patient-focused environment and takes pride in ensuring clinics run smoothly.

    You will play a key role in supporting Consultants and the wider clinical team while providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients. The position suits someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing a variety of administrative tasks in a busy clinical setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinic Administration

    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Consultant and clinical team.
    • Prepare documentation and ensure all clinic materials are ready ahead of patient appointments.
    • Maintain accurate records and assist with general administrative duties.

    Appointment & Clinic Coordination

    • Schedule and manage patient appointments and clinic lists.
    • Communicate appointment details and updates with patients in a professional manner.
    • Help ensure clinics run efficiently by monitoring schedules and preparing for upcoming consultations.
    • Process insurance claims and prepare weekly invoicing.
    • Maintain organised and accurate billing records.

    Patient Support

    • Handle patient enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with patient information.

    About You

    You will have:

    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Previous experience in an administrative or customer-facing role (healthcare experience beneficial but not essential).
    • A professional, friendly, and confident manner when dealing with patients and colleagues.
    • Strong MS Office skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
