Health & Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards.

• Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety laws and internal policies.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; report findings and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and safety training.

• Deliver health and safety training to employees and management.

• Ensure availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Coordinate emergency procedures and drills.

• Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in audits when required.

• Continuously review and update safety policies in response to legislation and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of [2-5] years of experience in a health and safety role.

• Certified Health and Safety Officer (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA certification) preferred.
