Head of Finance - SME

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with an innovative SME in North Dublin who are hiring a Financial Controller to work closely with the MD and CEO to ensure long term sustainable growth.

The role of FC will manage a small team and be responsible for all areas of finance within the business. As the successful applicant you will have experience leading a finance function and improving processes and systems. This role is fully on-site in North Dublin.

Requirements:

• Manage all accounting operations
• Collaborate with the CEO and Senior Management Team to formulate, implement, and deliver on the Company's defined Business Strategy
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, reporting any variances
• Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements and management accounts
• Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
• Streamlining and improving accounting systems and operations
• Oversee the management of cash flow and debt/debt collection
• Supervising and managing financial department staff
• Manage the external audit process
• Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making processes
• Drive transformation projects within the Finance Department and support cross-functional projects
• Manage relationships with various partners such as banks, external auditors, legal firms, and outsource service providers

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant with minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance management position
• Excellent commercial awareness with experience in implementing organisational business strategy
• Exceptional experience in Financial Planning and Analysis and Accounting
• Technology-led mindset, with experience in business intelligence
