Our client, a leading global wholesale business with a strong presence in the FMCG sector and a market-leading position, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team.
Based in Dublin West, the company operates a hybrid working model and offers a competitive salary along with a completion bonus.

The role is initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the timely and precise completion of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Carry out end-of-period tasks including bank reconciliations and journal postings across various sites.
Post accruals and prepayments during month- and quarter-end close processes.
Manage quarterly intercompany reconciliations and ensure prompt settlement of intercompany balances.
Take full responsibility for Balance Sheet accounts related to the reporting entity, including reconciliation duties.
Oversee the approval of new supplier accounts, process payments, and review Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Prepare and submit revenue returns in line with Revenue authority deadlines.
Key Requirements:
Professionally qualified accountant with membership in a recognised body such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
A minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a finance department or similar function.
A highly motivated individual with a proactive mindset, keen to build a long-term career in accountancy and grow within the company.
Strong attention to detail, coupled with solid financial and analytical capabilities.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure working environment.
Skilled in managing and prioritising tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
Confident communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
Demonstrates initiative, drive and a results-focused approach.
Competent user of Microsoft Excel, particularly experienced in handling and analysing large volumes of data.
