Role Overview:
A leading global technology company is seeking a Bangladeshi Market Specialist to support trust and safety operations across its platforms. This role is part of a global team focused on content safety, crisis response, policy enforcement, and risk mitigation. The successful candidate will contribute to high-impact events such as elections, regulatory responses, and real-time incident handling, while providing deep regional insights and cultural context for the Bangladesh market.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a market expert, interpreting and applying platform policies (e.g., community guidelines, advertising policies) to real-world scenarios.

Investigate escalations involving abusive or harmful content, misinformation, and user safety risks.

Review and take action on content that may include graphic or objectionable material across user-generated content, ads, and commerce.

Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, including legal, policy, product, and operations, to resolve complex issues.

Analyse data and case trends to inform tooling improvements, policy updates, and proactive enforcement strategies.

Contribute to preparations for regional elections, public events, or other high-risk periods by establishing content monitoring pipelines.

Provide ongoing insights and feedback based on regional political, cultural, and linguistic developments.

Work collaboratively with third-party vendors to ensure performance and quality standards are met.
Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience in trust & safety, content moderation, online operations, risk analysis, or a related field.

Native-level fluency in Bengali with a deep understanding of the Bangladeshi cultural and political context.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly, especially during real-time incidents.

Comfortable working with sensitive and graphic content as part of enforcement duties.

Proficiency in using data and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to support operational improvements.

Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environments.
Desirable Skills:

Prior experience supporting elections, crisis response, or regulatory reviews in an online platform or tech environment.

Familiarity with digital policy, misinformation, or harmful content moderation.
