About the Role
A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced AML Consultant / Manager to join its Transfer Agency team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This role offers an opportunity to act as a technical subject matter expert, focusing on AML/KYC oversight, regulatory interpretation, and procedural enhancement. You'll work within a high-performing consultancy-style team, supporting colleagues on complex AML-related queries while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the team's AML/KYC subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and regulatory insight.
- Monitor and assess changes in financial regulations, communicating updates to the team and implementing required procedural changes.
- Update, maintain, and roll out internal policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support the team with technical AML and KYC queries, offering practical solutions and guidance.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a growing operational Centre of Excellence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Ireland and international offices to maintain alignment and best practices.
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of AML, KYC, and related regulatory frameworks within the funds or transfer agency sector.
- Proven ability to interpret regulatory developments and apply them operationally.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with strong stakeholder management capability.
- Previous experience in a consultant-level or technical SME role within financial services or fund administration.
- Depth of expertise is valued over years of experience - candidates should demonstrate a solid technical grounding and hands-on knowledge.
