Site Manager - Residential Cork

One of Cork's leading commercial and residential developers is looking for a Senior Site Manager to join their growing management team for large residential projects in the city and county.

Role: Site Manager- Residential

Location: Cork City

Salary: €75-85k, vehicle, pension, bonus

The main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the commercial team in the planning, tendering and delivery of all developments
• Providing specialist technical leadership
• Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets
• Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and Project Reporting.
• Monitoring sub-contractor performance and determining labour requirements.
• Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
• Being responsible for company Health & Safety files, Homebond applications and other important documents
• Attending weekly/monthly site meetings

The ideal candidate will:

• 5 years experience as Senior Site Manager
• Experience in large scale residential & commercial projects in Ireland or the UK
• Possess a third level qualification in a Construction or Engineering discipline desirable
• Trades background with 15 years on site experience desirable
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience liaising with local government, ESB, Irish Water and planning authorities
• Have proficient IT and report writing skills
