About the Role
My client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their team in West Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced finance professional to take ownership of a key role within a growing and dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the Finance Department.
- Oversee the completion of monthly management accounts.
- Assist senior management with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Support the external statutory audit process.
- Liaise with third-party service providers.
- Review and enhance financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Complete external financial filings and reporting.
Skills & Experience Required
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven staff management experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Payroll experience.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
