I am currently working with a client in the manufacturing sector to support their search for an experienced Procurement Manager on a fixed-term contract.

This is a key role responsible for leading procurement and supply chain activities, driving strategy, and ensuring efficient purchasing and inventory management. You'll work closely with senior leadership to optimise supplier performance, manage risk, and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver procurement and supply chain strategies aligned to business goals
• Manage and optimise supplier relationships, including contract negotiation
• Oversee purchasing and inventory control to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply
• Monitor KPIs and use data to drive performance improvements
• Lead and develop the procurement team
• Support sustainability initiatives within the supply chain

About You

• Proven procurement/supply chain experience within manufacturing
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Analytical, proactive, and commercially minded
• Confident working with senior stakeholders
