SAP FI - CO Principal Analyst

My client is seeking a highly skilled SAP FI/CO Principal Analyst with deep functional expertise and hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). This is a key role requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to effectively communicate across both business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the go-to expert for SAP FI/CO, with full lifecycle configuration responsibilities.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding business drivers and ensuring alignment with technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the SAP development team, effectively communicating functional needs and understanding technical constraints.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Support or lead the integration of banking systems into SAP.
• Provide knowledge or input on SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) where relevant.
• Ensure all solutions are aligned with industry standards, best practices, and internal controls.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of strong, hands-on experience in SAP FI, with a solid understanding of CO.
• Proven experience with SAP FI/CO configuration.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills - knowing who to engage and when is essential.
• Strong communication abilities with fluency in both business and technical language.
• Experience working with and managing offshore team collaboration.
• Familiarity with banking systems integration and/or RAR is highly desirable.
• Must be available to work standard Irish business hours.
