My client is looking for an RPA Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead operations and lifecycle management projects across global automation platforms, including RPA, Automation Anywhere, and custom automation frameworks.
- Provide technical assistance to users by diagnosing issues in automated systems or virtual machines and explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
- Develop, design, and implement agentic and custom applications, scripts, and automations to expand platform capabilities.
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and manage complex incidents, ensuring adherence to compliance, change control, and system lifecycle standards.
- Maintain automation applications through debugging, updates, and performance monitoring to ensure reliability and continuous optimisation.
- Collaborate with global teams to document user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices, ensuring consistent knowledge sharing.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in enterprise RPA environments with strong incident management and operations support capabilities.
- Hands-on expertise with Automation Anywhere 360 Control Room, including workflow queues, credential lockers, and bot management.
- Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting API and RESTful integrations across multiple systems and architectures.
- Strong ability to triage and analyse defects in production environments, including critical P1 and P2 issues on physical and virtual machines.
- Skilled in using metrics to drive continuous service improvement and enhance automation platform performance.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, SAP APIs, and test automation frameworks, with strong root-cause analysis abilities and experience supporting ServiceNow-based workflows.
