My client is looking for an Identity Governance Tech Lead with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Identity and Access Management (IAM) identity governance platforms, ensuring reliable delivery and support of secure identity services in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Lead day to day IAM operations including incident response, change management, problem resolution, and service improvements to maintain platform stability and security.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex IAM issues, guiding engineers in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of long-term solutions.
- Oversee the health, performance, and maintenance of identity governance systems, ensuring platforms are patched, monitored, and operating efficiently.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, development, and compliance teams to support regulatory requirements, manage risk, and strengthen the organisation's IAM strategy.
- Participate in a structured on-call rotation supporting a global "follow-the-sun" IAM operations model, responding to priority incidents and requests outside of standard business hours.
Key Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience delivering and supporting Identity and Access Management solutions, with strong expertise in identity governance and administration.
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Identity Manager, Entra ID, and SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar identity governance technologies.
- Strong knowledge of IAM processes including identity provisioning, access management, incident management, and operational support.
- Experience working with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and supporting highly available enterprise platforms.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams and engage with technical and business stakeholders.
