Data Scientist

My client is looking for a Data Scientist with a minimum of 2 years experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and data-driven solutions.
  
  
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for product or business optimization.
  
  
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders using clear visualizations and storytelling.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other data professionals to integrate models into production.
  
  
• Continuously evaluate and improve model performance and data pipelines.

Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a Data Science role.
  
  
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL.
  
  
• Experience with machine learning frameworks.
  
  
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power Bi)
  
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  
  
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
