Cross-Functional Quality Engineer

Our client, a global leader in innovation and customer experience, is looking for a Cross-Functional Quality Engineer to join their high-impact technology team.

This role is ideal for a QA professional with strong cross-functional leadership who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys driving excellence in testing and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Act as a quality advocate across business and technical teams, focusing on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and complex systems integration
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of testing across large-scale programs
• Facilitate the identification of test scenarios, requirements traceability, and progress reporting
• Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and stakeholder alignment
• Champion opportunities for test automation and testing innovation
• Collaborate across departments to ensure test environments and data readiness
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to leadership and project teams
• Help shape and evolve the testing strategy and quality culture

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience in quality assurance or testing, especially in cross-functional project environments
• Expertise in various testing methodologies and driving a quality-first mindset
• Strong leadership in QA program management, resource planning, and execution
• Technical understanding of system dependencies, software architecture, and data flows
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
• Organized, analytical, and comfortable with ambiguity and change

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP systems (especially R/3 to S/4 HANA migration)
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or third-party logistics testing
• Quality certifications (e.g., ISTQB, ASQ) or project management certifications (e.g., PMI)
