Finance Manager

Morgan McKinley are working with a well-established Irish organisation who are seeking a Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership and support to operational and executive teams. The role is responsible for ensuring robust financial governance, supporting commercial decision-making and delivering accurate reporting across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, overseeing day-to-day financial operations and reporting.

• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and key performance reports.

• Support financial evaluation of business initiatives, commercial agreements and investment proposals.

• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimisation.

• Monitor and report on capital expenditure and investment projects.

• Manage internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.

• Prepare statutory financial statements and regulatory returns.

Experience

• 8 years PQE in a fast-paced finance environment.

• Experience managing a team and coordinating financial activities across multiple functions.

• Strong commercial awareness.

• Excellent communication skills, including presenting financial information to senior management and external parties.

• Proficient with accounting systems, reporting tools and ERP systems.
