Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities within the plant where capabilities can be increased and to help reduce costs through arrangement of alternative processes, equipment and automation.
Identify new processes, equipment and / or automation installations.
Responsible for all project objectives being met - Safety, quality, timelines, budget.
Supporting the Department Managers, SHEQ and OPEX teams with technical expertise.
Manage & build relationships internally & externally; with suppliers, sub-contractors & employees on operational issues.
Adherence to SOX procedures, Purchase Orders, New Asset introduction & Disposal.
Educated to B.Eng. level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years experience of a wide variety of manufacturing processes.
Experience in heigh Volume Manufacturing.
Experience in a production area with an emphasis on automation.
Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with demonstrated practical application of theoretical learning.
Strong computer skills -Ability to write machine-based computer programmes.
