I am looking to speak to IT Specialist's for a new fixed term contract position just in with a Waterford based client, who seek an End User Computing Specialist.
This new role has come available with a growing client expanding their operations.
The client does require candidates to be as close to Waterford as possible in the near future.
The following details are the requirements in order to be successful in this position:
How you will spend your days:
Strategize and deliver all IT assets (laptops, mobile devices, printers, workstations, special needs equipment, end point software including Office 365, infrastructure for managing end point devices/software).
Prepare documentation and provide user assistance.
Ensure an accurate asset register is maintained.
Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Provide and maintain a high level of customer service.
Supporting project work as well as the Service Desk team.
Installing and replacing IT equipment.
Preparing equipment for distribution to work from home staff members.
Working with the Mail Room to both send packages and receive deliveries.
The ideal candidate:
A desire to learn and grow in a fast paced and flexible environment.
Previous exposure to IT systems or asset registries is an advantage.
End User support specialists receive on-the-job training for specific computer software applications, hardware devices and network systems.
Flexible to work on an on call model and for planned activities out of business hours.
