Morgan McKinley are working with a well-established South East based organisation, who are looking for a commercially astute Financial Manager to join their expanding business.
This is an excellent role for a qualified accountant to step up into a finance manager role where you will become an integral part of the finance team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Leadership Team. Excellent remuneration package and hybrid work model for the successful candidate.
Managing the day-to-day aspects of the Finance function.
Preparation of the monthly and yearly management accounts including month end journals, analysis and KPI's.
Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliations for review.
Budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
Review of variances to Budgets & Forecasts and provide valuable insights to drive business performance.
Review of Budget against Actual results and identification of trends and issues and mitigation plans.
Processing of all financial transactions for the company to trial balance level including the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Preparation and presentation of Financial Reports for Senior Management.
Completion and filing on time of all statutory returns to Revenue.
Co-ordinating and preparation for Financial Audits.
Ensuring adequate financial and system controls are in place and regularly reviewed.
Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the business.
Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA Accountant
Minimum 3 years PQE at Manager level
ERP experience required, SAGE desirable
Proficient in Excel.
Extensive understanding of finance systems and required controls.
Accuracy and high-level attention to detail.
Possess strong communication skills
Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
