As the SAP Technical Lead you'll act as the overall owner and technical authority for the design, delivery and management of the core technical components of the new S/4HANA technologies being implemented as part of the programme.
The role will ensure that the SAP technical architecture and required environments are available for use by both the programme and business as usual operations when required and are performing in line with the service level expectations agreed with the business.
This role will be responsible for driving the technical design and working with several 3rd party service providers throughout the programme lifecycle and post go-live, in the provision of the new environment.
The successful individual will play a key part in shaping the strategy and plan for how the 3rd parties deliver their services and will be responsible for contributing to and approving all technical designs.
Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges along with strong communication and presentation skills to senior leadership will also be key. Planning ability has been identified as a key requirement by the Hiring Manager.
Some minimum requirements for this role include 7+ years of SAP infrastructure and BASIS services experience, 4+ years of experience in leadership, planning and communication roles and multiple life cycle implementations or key experience with upgrades of large ERP platforms.
A gold star candidate will have prior experience provisioning SAP in Cloud (Microsoft Azure).
