Currently seeking a Reconciliations Administrator for one of Ireland's leading providers of Financial Services. The Reconciliations Administrator will have responsibility for daily reconciling of accounts. Daily reconciliations are carried out for all banks affecting entries from the banks source systems to Bank Accounts and General Ledger Systems. The Reconciliation system used is Intellimatch.
Location: Dublin City Centre
Salary: From €28k
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5:15 pm
Contract duration: 12 months
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To have responsibility for daily Intellimatch Reconciliations & associated reporting
To identify & investigate outstanding items/exceptions on the bank reconciliations.
To ensure that all outstanding items / exceptions identified are correctly issued to and actioned by the various departments.
To liaise with our Nostro Banks / Group on a daily basis regarding queries on outstanding items / exceptions
To ensure that items that have not been actioned within a certain timeframe have been escalated where necessary.
Processing of weekly bank rec journals.
To provide cover on tasks in the reconciliations area
Ensure work is carried out and completed in a controlled, compliant, timely and accurate manner with emphasis on attention to detail & to ensure that all Codes of Practice/Conduct are adhered to.
Provide a high quality professional service by providing prompt responses and first time resolution of customer queries to both Internal & External Customers
To assist Line Manager and Team members with ad hoc administrative duties Projects and UAT if required
Knowledge, Education & Experience:
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role within a similar environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
Previous Intellimatch experience would be an advantage along with a good knowledge of banking source systems
Experience in a suite of MS office products is essential eg excel ,word, powerpoint
Excellent general administration
A commitment to further expand their knowledge and contribute to the success of the Reconciliations Team
