Job Description

I am currently seeking a Quality Manager to join a global logistics provider supporting industry in trade for the exchange of goods through, land, sea, and air.

This person will be responsible for developing, revising, and implementing quality standards and policies within the organization. You will also be responsible for delivering the training program to allow operational efficiency. This is a permanent role based in Dublin.

The successful candidate will have a third level degree in science or engineering with minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role within the industry. You will have extensive knowledge of quality standards and models. You will be strategic, logical, and an excellent communicator. Lean six sigma green belt would be advantageous. Experience in 3 PL/Logistics also very desirable. Previous involvement in project management also key.

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop policies, procedures, and objectives for all initiatives within the quality function.
  • Create ownership and control of procedures, work instruction and records.
  • QA approval of procedures and maintenance of master files.
  • Responsible for internal and external audit program.
  • Responsible for non-conformance process.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and consistently meeting international and business standards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment through the consistent practice of safety programs and procedures.
  • Align training and deliver activities in line with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with the QHSE departments.
  • Ensure compliance of QHSE regional and global requirements.
