We have a very exciting opportunity for a strong Part Qualified/ Finalist Accountant with a leading Irish Medical Distribution name based in the Dublin 24 area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate, within the scope of this role you will work as the right hand to the Finance Manager whilst working as part of the Accounting team.
This role will encompass a broad array of duties including preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and oversight on the workflow of the accounts administration team, governing , payables, receivables and purchasing.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversight and support to junior team members, governing payables, purchasing and receivables
- Overseeing the AR role with the person in this role - making sure collections are timely and helping with queries elevated for resolution
- Responsible for journal postings
- Management of bank account reconciliations
- Preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts for two legal entities under the supervision of the Finance Manager
- Balance Sheet reconciliation of all accounts
- Working closely with the Finance Manger on all month end close activities
- Liaising with external auditors
- Overseeing the cashflow
- Oversight on processing the bi-monthly VAT return and quarterly return for two entities as well as CSO returns
- Responsible for the Sage stock system, pricing and category codes etc
- Processing the monthly Sales reports
- Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
Person Specifications & Qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant/ Finalist ACCA, CIMA, CPA or ACA
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant accounting experience
- Experience with accounts preparation is essential
- Strong knowledge of debits & credits
- Ability to build strong rapport with team and various internal and external stakeholders
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with a high level of dedication
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
