Department Description
The Product Legal team provides support in relation to all aspects of the company's European fund range and investment products. For the most part, these fund ranges are domiciled in Luxembourg, the UK and Ireland. The team also provides legal advice to senior management on any legal matters or developments which may affect their business.
Purpose of the Role
This is a [six/nine]-month fixed-term role arising due to a time-sensitive project relating to various European funds in anticipation of the entry into force of new regulation. The successful candidate will report to a Legal Director within the Product Legal team. They will be required to provide pro-active support to lawyers and paralegals within the team in their work relating to the project.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with review of contents of existing UCITS KIIDs.
Work with third party outsourced service provider to prepare text for inclusion in PRIIPS KIIDs.
Ensure consistency and align all KI(I)D documents with prospectus for relevant fund.
Coordinate with third party outsourced service provider relating to progress of the project.
Providing support and assistance to lawyers and paralegals within the Product Legal team in relation to the project.
Performing other administrative tasks and ad hoc projects, as requested.
Experience and Qualifications Required
Third-level qualification in law, business or a related field with good knowledge of financial services or relevant work experience, ideally in the asset management and investment funds;
Excellent organisational skills.
Methodical, with strong attention to detail.
Positive, pro-active attitude suited to being a team member within a dynamic business environment.
Able to be flexible when it comes to working to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
