An exciting opportunity to join an ambitious Global PLC in Dublin. The role, Group Internal Auditor will work as part of a team responsible for increasing efficiency across the group through operational and financial risk management. The successful candidate will build relationships with stakeholders across the various companies within the group and essentially become a business partner for the internal audit department. Due to the exposure the previous successful candidates gained in this role they have progressed into roles across the finance and operational divisions locally and internationally throughout the organisation.

The is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical and ambitious candidate looking to build a successful career within a PLC. This role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to learn and develop as well as great opportunities to travel to locations across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and carry out internal audits of operational and financial controls
  • Work with internal stakeholders to offer advice and guidance in relation to reporting of issues that arise during audits to promote improvements to risk management and internal processes
  • Look to increase the efficiency of how audits are carried out using technology
  • Build relationships and partner with senior management on issues and work on solutions as a result of audits you will carry out

Qualifications/Skills required:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 1 -3 years PQE in a large accounting practice or a similar role within a large MNC
  • Experienced in SOX, internal controls evaluations and a strong knowledge of corporate governance
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
