Global Employment Tax Senior Analyst (Special Projects)
Global client are looking for a dynamic Senior Tax Analyst who will join their in-house Global tax team that is responsible for all tax matters globally.
The Employment Tax Senior Analyst will report to the Global Employment Tax Senior Manager and will be based in Dublin, Ireland.
As part of the newly created Global Employment Tax function within the tax team you'll play an important role in the organization.
You will work closely with our global employment tax senior manager, global payroll operational managers, Human Resources, Stock Admin, Global Mobility, M&A, and Corporate Tax teams to ensure we are fulfilling our employment tax obligations throughout the global.
About the Role
Work on a number of employment tax / payroll special projects as they arise.
Support the coordination of employment tax audits globally either directly, or through external providers.
Engage stakeholders to ensure impact of audits are properly vetted for risk and negotiated to agreeable resolution and sustained compliance.
Provide employment tax advice and coordinate with internal stakeholders on all benefit and perk programs, M&A,and payroll initiatives to develop tax positions to ensure compliance to local tax and reporting regulations.
Partner with the Global Mobility team on tax aspects associated with our globally mobile employees, remote workers and displaced employees.
Collaborating closely with both the Global Mobility and Payroll teams to establish streamlined processes around trailing liabilities.
Assisting in establishment of processes in relation to business travellers.
Communicate tax technical matters to various non tax-technical stakeholder groups including wider employees.
Drive accountability with all tax vendors responsible for the delivery of an exceptional employee experience and ensure that they are delivering within agreed SLA's.
Who you are:
You will bring 4+ years of relevant employment tax experience to the role. Inhouse employment tax / global mobility experience preferred but not essential.
You will have demonstrated experience in employment and mobility tax, global compensation reporting and payroll processes.
Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, including the experience flexing to changing circumstances and priorities.
Self-starter and fast learner with the experience quickly establishing relationships and be viewed as a trusted advisor, subject matter expert.
Experience working independently and comfortable being proactive autonomously.
