Job Description
An excellent opportunity to join an exciting large scale program with a client of ours who are an established and respected entity within the Irish Financial sector.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation of an ERP system for our financial services and banking client in Ireland. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ERP project management, with significant experience in financial transformation projects in the financial services and banking industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the ERP project team, including business analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the client's business and IT teams to design and implement an ERP solution that aligns with the client's business goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage project risks and issues.
- Manage project stakeholders, including the client's project team and external vendors.
- Communicate project progress, status, and risks to the client and project team on a regular basis.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project closure documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in ERP project management, with significant experience in financial transformation projects in the financial services and banking industry.
- Strong technical skills in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale ERP projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in managing project budgets and resources, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage remote teams.
