Job Description

The clients Project Managers support and work directly with senior and consulting project managers and other colleagues to support client matters.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Being a Project Manager for this client is a case assistant for a portfolio of matters. They're PMs support and work directly with senior and consulting project managers and other colleagues to support client matters. PMs seek to understand why something is being done and are committed to implementing best practices and workflows. They know where to go for assistance and when to ask for help.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Continuously monitor multiple projects within each department to ensure deadlines and project requirements are met
  • Work with Sr. Project Managers and Consulting Project Managers to support active client projects
  • Escalate issues to the Sr. PM or Consulting PM as necessary
  • Work with third party vendors to support client engagements
  • Support Project Management Group with administrative tasks
  • Work with other departments as necessary

TAR SPECIALIZATION (where applicable): A Project Manager with an emphasis on TAR implementation is responsible for supporting the application of advanced analytics and predictive coding technologies including data qualification, workflow design and management, and statistical reporting. A TAR Project Manager will work closely with Project Specialists and LADS team to ensure a defensible TAR process is implemented every time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as primary point of client support on TAR engagements
  • Create and execute project plans and workflows
  • Support analytics tools
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills
  • Ensures all client deliverables are "Review Ready"
  • Advise and assist clients on analytics tools, including training, monitoring, progress reporting, feedback, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with Project Specialist on analysis and reporting
  • Provide analysis for presentation and discussion with client teams

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Relativity experience preferred, Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and other certifications are highly valued.
  • Experience with eDiscovery software (processing & hosting).
  • 3 plus years of client-facing project management experience at a consultancy, law firm, or service provider.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the litigation lifecycle and EDRM.
  • Experience with eDiscovery software (processing & hosting).
  • Strong customer service, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and overcoming obstacles to realize project and task delivery success.
  • Knowing when and how to ask for help.
  • Ability to establish and maintain focus.
  • Solid time management, planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed when client project loads increase.
