This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Corporate Communications professional to join this growing Biotechnology company

Role: Corporate Communications Associate Director

Duration: Permanent

Location: Dublin City Centre

This Global Biotechnology company is looking for a Corporate Comms Associate Director to join their agile and creative team. The successful candidate will play an important role in further shaping and building the company's visibility and image in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate internal/external communications planning, strategy and tactical execution for Irish offices including overall media/visibility strategy.

  • Responsible for working with the leadership and Corporate Affairs team in Ireland to create a tailored plan and strategy that elevates awareness of the company and its unique approach.

  • Responsible for curating, supporting and aggregating content and opportunities (i.e. corporate content sponsorships, media placements, speaking opportunities) to build the company's reputation among key external stakeholders.

  • Building relationships across all functions to coordinate opportunities to build more brand awareness.

  • Increase media consideration: relevant news and articles, corporate social responsibility, government affairs, research, culture, etc.

  • Align with all corporate affairs functions and cross-functional partners to maximise corporate visibility.

  • Provide key messages and response communications as needed.

  • Collaborate with Corporate Affairs team on content development, planning and execution for events and corporate social responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field required

  • 10+ years' experience in communications or public relations role required

  • Extensive experience in advising leaders in communications and reputation management

  • Experience in social media paired with exemplary writing and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders across global markets

  • High-touch stakeholder engagement; track record of building relationships with cross-functional teams

  • Strong management and strategic planning and goal setting

  • Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on execution and results

  • Up to 10% domestic travel required (Waterford)
