We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a fast growing company based just outside Cork City on an initial 6-8 week contract.

Warehouse Operative (Temporary) - Cork

A great opportunity for a candidate looking for a chance to show their skills in a warehouse environment. Our client currently needs to hire a Warehouse operative on a temporary basis to help keep up with with growing demand. This will initially be a 6 - 8 week contract and is a great opportunity for someone looking to prove themselves.

Future permanent roles may come available with this company and they will consider previous temporary employees if they perform well during their stint with the company. Ideally you will have some experience in picking and packing or relevant experience in a Warehouse environmemt.

Hours for this role will be roughly from 9am-5am with some varaiance and this will be a Monday to Friday role.

Key responsibilities and activities

• Timely and accurate receipting of deliveries from suppliers.
• Daily picking, assembly, packing and shipping of product orders.
• Ensure demonstration stock is in a saleable condition at all times.
• Conduct regular stock cycle counts as scheduled.
• Liaise with group warehouses regarding transfer of stock.
• Liaise with Customer Service team and other Company departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Take responsibility for the security of the warehouse stock.
• Delivery of orders to customers as required.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations including general housekeeping, allocation of material and shipping of finished goods are conducted to the highest safety standards to meet with health and safety requirements.
