Job Description

Morgan McKinley are currently recruiting a Supply Planner to join a growing pharmaceutical company in Cork. This is a contact role for 12 months with a hybrid working model.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious supply chain professional to make a step into the pharmaceutical sector. Joining a well-established team, this Supply Planner will assist with planning, inventory management and build key relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers toward the achievement of strategies and goals
  • Assist with the demand and supply planning process for assigned drug products and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) sourced from external suppliers and group affiliates.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with the procurement of drug products and APIs according to supply and manufacturing agreements in place.
  • Will interact with suppliers, CMOs, internal production plants to set priorities and ensure delivery schedule is executed on time and in full.
  • Engage with suppliers on meeting deadlines, provide updates on orders and escalate supply issues/delays
  • Effectively manage stock coverage, demand and supply for assigned drug products and APIs. Prepare supply plans to be submitted to CMOs and suppliers under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager
  • Key requirements:
  • 3+ years supply chain experience
  • Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office essential
  • APICS or 3rd level education
