Firmware Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and firmware for payment reading devices and related IoT services, delivering innovative, secure, and high-performance solutions to meet evolving payment business needs.
• Effectively prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality work in line with project schedules.
• Provide support during product launches, system deployments, and ongoing performance monitoring.

Skills Reqd

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in software/firmware development, ideally on Linux, Android, or real-time operating systems (RTOS). Candidates with around 2 years of relevant experience may be considered for the Jr System Engineer position.
• Strong technical foundation in embedded systems programming and system design.
• Proficiency in C/C++ is essential; experience with Java is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
