Position: Legal Entity Controller
Team Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Global Corporate Controllers team, responsible for managing accounting, financial, and regulatory reporting on a global scale. This role provides an opportunity to engage in external reporting for public filings as well as internal financial oversight and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for legal entities and collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Develop regulatory reports for submission to relevant authorities, specifically the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
- Execute the financial statement close process, including conducting analytical reviews.
- Monitor and assess key metrics for regulated entities, such as financial performance and regulatory ratios.
- Generate legal entity-level reports for key governance meetings, including Board of Directors and Audit Committees.
- Collaborate with the tax department on tax-related issues and corporate filing processes.

Candidate Profile:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, specifically dealing with HKMA and SFC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data.
- Ability to collaborate with virtual teams across different regions to achieve shared objectives.
