About the Role

Currently hiring a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Specialist with a focus on Integrated Circuits (IC) and electrical components. This position is pivotal in managing the sourcing process for the products and ensuring optimal supplier relationships. This is a solo role based in Hong Kong (One man band) and report directly to the Sourcing and Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies in China for IC components, including transistors, resistors, capacitors, and diodes.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, focusing on the Greater China region
• Negotiate cost, delivery, and quality terms with vendors to achieve optimal pricing and performance
• Monitor component market trends, risks (shortages, obsolete parts), and ensure reliable supply continuity
• Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and evaluate supplier capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Sourcing and Operations Manager to ensure alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of sourcing experience in a trading or sourcing office setting, with exposure to electronic components distribution
• Strong expertise and product knowledge of IC components (transistors, resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc.)
• Demonstrated supplier network across China; proven record of successful supplier negotiation and managementGood command of English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize under pressure, and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Technical or business degree preferred (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration)
