Multimedia Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of multimedia content strategies, overseeing projects from concept to completion in collaboration with internal teams.
Corporate Communications: Implement corporate communication strategies for the Asia and Japan (AxJ) region, fostering relationships with media and key financial journalists.
Event Support: Assist with regional and local events (both internal and external), manage social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube), and perform various administrative tasks.
Award Management: Oversee the pitching and management of awards for the region.
Industry Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, analyze content performance, and align strategies with organizational objectives.
Entry-Level Consideration: Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Vice President (AVP) level.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in media and communications within the financial industry, preferably in asset management.
Communication Skills: Excellent command of English, both oral and written; proficiency in a second language is preferred.
Social Media and Video Production: Solid experience in managing corporate social media platforms and familiarity with video production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Oktopost).
Corporate Communications Expertise: Extensive experience in corporate communications, including strong media relations across local and regional outlets and a comprehensive understanding of media operations.
Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the investment management sector, including investment products, client segments, and the competitive landscape.
Independent Work: Ability to operate independently and manage responsibilities as a one-person team supporting the AxJ region.
Event Planning Experience: Hands-on experience in event planning and/or virtual events (e.g., live webcasts).
Licensing: SFC license is a plus.
