About the Client
Our client is a world-class big tech company with a strong focus on AI. They are looking for a LLM Engineer to develop foundation models and data curation algorithms across multiple modalities, including Computer Vision, NLP, and Embodied AI.
It would be a 12-month extendable contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute engineering tasks for the research team to build large-scale foundation models and high-quality data curation algorithms for perception.
- Convert complex research ideas into functional implementations, developing new architectures and functionalities within the core research platforms.
- Support senior researchers in implementing advanced AI systems and machine perception technologies on high-performance cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research units to define and execute system implementation roadmaps.
- Participate in the team's publication efforts by turning engineering breakthroughs into documented research outcomes and broad scientific impact.
- Develop efficient research tools to improve the modeling of spatial and temporal knowledge across various AI modalities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related technical field (Master's or PhD preferred).
- 2 - 4 years of experience in deep learning and foundation models, with the ability to conduct independent engineering and implementation work.
- Significant hands-on experience in PyTorch and developing computer vision infrastructure or deep learning algorithms.
- Practical exposure to one or more specialized areas: 3D reconstruction, depth sensing, image/video generation, or distributed systems.
