About the job
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an individual contributor collaborating with teams in Europe and other APAC regions.
- Effectively plan, allocate resources, and lead IT projects that span various departments within the organization.
- Continuously track project progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Be the main liaison for all stakeholders involved in the Google Workspace migration initiative.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, including communication with senior leadership and C-level executives.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to guarantee smooth project execution.
- Partner with internal business units to evaluate the organizational impact of the migration.
- Proactively identify project risks and apply suitable mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise with Google Workspace tools and industry best practices.
- Oversee user account management, permissions, and access throughout the migration.
- Drive process improvements and cost efficiencies via effective use of Google Workspace.
- Support the rollout and organizational adoption of the new collaboration tools post-migration.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies are advantageous.
- At least 8 years of experience managing IT projects, particularly involving collaboration and productivity tools.
- Proven track record in leading mid-to-large scale IT implementations.
- Solid understanding of the Google Workspace ecosystem.
- Experience with tools and strategies for migrating from Microsoft 365/Office 365 to Google Workspace.
- Skilled in evaluating change impacts during migration projects.
- Self-driven, mature, and capable of performing under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical thinker with a structured and creative problem-solving approach.
- Ability to provide user training is a plus.
- Proficient in spoken and written English; fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, or German is a significant asset.
