Senior Facilities Planning Engineer

About The Role

As a Senior Facilities Planning Engineer, you'll be responsible for planning and overseeing the execution for installtion and maintenance projects for Data Centre Infrastructure (UPS, Gensets, Chiller, Air-Conditioning Unit, LVSB and CRAC).

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the executions of installation and maintenance projects for data centre systems (UPS, Gensets, Chiller, Air-Conditioning Unit, LVSB and CRAC)
• Delegate O&M tasks to subordinates to carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance work on site
• Oversee the process of testing and commissioning for MVAC, Electrical, and Building Services systems prior to the handover process to new tenants
• Monitor all progress of contracted-out/ outsourced projects and fitting-out works to ensure all works are fulfilled according to management team's expectations
• Handle cases of emergency and provide solutions or assistance on site to overcome system defects at hand
• Draft documentation for higher management's approval and review, for instance procurement of inventory, technical & material submissions, etc

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Service Engineering or any other relevant discipline in Engineering
• Minimum 5 year's of facilities planning/ O&M experience for MVAC, BS, & Electrical Systems for Data Centre Infrastructure
• Experience in UPS, Gensets, Chiller, Air-Conditioning Unit, LVSB and CRAC is a must
• Knowledgeable in handling and managing cases of emergency remotely for 24/7 operations is required
• Good communication skills for both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the title of Facilities Planning Engineer
