Legal Counsel (VC)

Our client is an expanding Venture Capital with a strong track record in AI and technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed about relevant SFC regulations to offer strategic, proactive advice and promote compliance.
• Provide legal support, including drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct due diligence and research prior to investments in portfolio companies.
• Prepare subscription packages for funds and special purpose vehicles (SPVs).

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer licensed in common law jurisdiction with 2+ PQE.
• Experience gained in reputable law firms, financial institutions, VC funds or asset managers is preferred.
• Experience in SFC type 9 licensed fund compliance.
• Good team player with the ability to multitask.
