Job Description

A UK based large institution is looking for a Senior Trade Support Associate to join their Trade Management Team under COO Office.

About the role

The Associate is responsible to provide support to Front Office business lines under the regional Trade Management Team.


  • Responsible for daily trade management process, verify and control static data with SDM platform

  • Perform daily Operations control reports E.g. Reconciliation of brokerages for the previous day, Confirmation suppression, etc.
  • Monitor RIMS settlement system platform and co-ordinate with C/P to resolve un-match and fail transactions (morning shift requirement)
  • Prepare trade confirmations and client's End of Day trading reports
  • Prepare daily statement of transactions or ad hoc reports as required by client
  • Prepare daily brokerage reports and End of Day reports to the Desk Heads to sign off
  • Prepare monthly report to the regulatory parties, E.g. HKMA
  • Fulfil any additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
  • Maintain and update client contact details in the client contact database
  • Record brokerage for clients with agreements in place and send to the relevant departments to collect.
  • Monitor interface between the front office and middle office systems for trade breaks.
  • Alert straight away the brokers of any trade/price discrepancies, in order to correct. Demonstrate the ability to quickly escalate problems to management and stakeholders for error trades, trade positions and system performance issues
  • Provide input to crossing platforms and follow up the execution status of trading position (e.g. Titan OTC)
  • Input on Markitwire platform for OTC products and monitor the matching status


  • Degree holder in Business, Finance or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Middle Office environment is necessary
  • Good knowledge of financial products and understanding of the operational risks involved in Fixed Income and FX products
  • Good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skill
  • Fluency in English. Proficient in French or other Asian languages a plus
  • Versatile with PC tools and applications, e.g. MS Office, VBA
