About the role

A MNC retail activation & marketing production agency is currently looking for a Marketing Director to join their growing team. This person will act as the key person for APAC clients' retail activation campaigns and strategic business planning for the company.

Responsibilities

• Regional strategic planning for client's retail portfolio across Asia (predominantly HK, CN, TW)
• To drive customer loyalty either in an agency setting or a consumer goods/ retail environment
• Analyse and evaluate brand metrics, consumer behaviors, industry and retail trends to identify opportunities for clients and campaign development
• In partnership with HQ to formulate go-to-market plans, brand activation campaigns, Media & PR strategies, product portfolio development for the brands
• Support the Regional Marketing Director in managing the relationship with licensees, licensors, distributors and dealers
• Lead category price analysis utilising regional pricing strategy
• Lead and participate in ad-hoc internal projects where required

Requirement

• University graduate or above in any discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of solid experience of driving marketing and retail activation campaigns
• A self-motivated team player, possessing excellent negotiation, leadership and communication skills
• Existing thought leadership on customer loyalty and an ability to develop future business pipeline
• Credible with gravitas and impact; able to command immediate attention, respect with a senior level audience to build a compelling business cases supporting the company's goals
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good mix of strategy and hands-on mentality
• High level of commitment/motivation
• Fluent in both English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Willing to travel (occasionally)
