SAP FICO Consultant

Job Description

I am looking to speak to experienced SAP FICO Consultants to join an exciting SAP S4 Hana project team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing, managing, and optimizing SAP FICO modules. This position requires a deep understanding of financial processes and SAP FICO functionalities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Location: Munster Based

Duration: 12 month daily rate contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation & Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO modules to meet the business requirements of our clients.
• Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their financial processes, gather requirements, and translate them into SAP solutions.
• System Customization: Customize SAP FICO modules to support business processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
• Data Management: Ensure accurate data migration and integration between SAP FICO and other systems.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the system meets business needs.
• User Training: Develop training materials and provide training sessions to end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP FICO functionalities.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues, resolving any system-related problems in a timely manner.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using SAP tools.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with SAP updates and enhancements, and continuously seek opportunities to optimize and improve financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO implementation and support.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO) with a strong understanding of integration points with other SAP modules.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
