An exciting opportunity to join our client, a global leader in the Food & Beverage industry, as an IT Project Manager on their financial digital transformation program

Project Overview

As part of the finance function digital transformation program, our client, a multinational food and beverage leader, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join them on this journey. The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering Digital Transformation on behalf of IT to finance function (FP&A) stakeholders. The emphasis is to enhance maturity in Financial Analytics, to deliver a flexible, scalable reporting platform that supports both planning and analytics requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and clarification of scope for 2024.
  • Manage ADO, creating the epics, features, users story's and tasks required to drive transparency and accountability.
  • Run planning sessions, agile ceremonies and act as a champion for agile ways of working.
  • Manage risks and dependencies, stakeholders, escalations, presenting to steering teams.
  • Present work pipelines and inter-dependencies at the clients IT PMO/portfolio forums.
  • Engage with the clients Project Management Office and Planning/Strategy teams on new initiatives, policies and procedures, socializing and integrating those back into corporate function.
  • Manage stakeholders across the various interested teams/functions
  • Support Project Management Audit Controls

Experience Required

  • Experience of delivering projects that include PowerBI reporting, SAP BPC & BW planning and reporting systems is key.
  • Ability to speak 'accountant' and understand their needs/language.
  • 7+ years of related IT Project Management experience, leading projects.
  • Experience in Project Management tools ( ADO, MS Project, Office 365 applications, Project & Portfolio tools).
  • Project Management qualification required.
  • Experience of matrixed, global organisations.
  • Familiar with the governance and reporting requirements associated with regulated industries, such as SOX.
  • Comfortable holding a project team accountable and driving them towards governance and best practices.
