Established international engineering company looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in the Netherlands and offer support and valuable input on a large scale development.
Job Title: Mechanical QA/QC Engineer
Company Overview: Our client is Europe's leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor, specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for some of Europe's largest developments. Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join their team and contribute to the success of a prominent port development project in the Netherlands.
Position Overview: As a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical engineering installations on the project.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections on mechanical engineering installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to address and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to safety regulations and project quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team in matters related to mechanical engineering and quality control.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering 3rd Level Degree or Time-Served Mechanical Services Installation Apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the construction or M&E industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC Piping Systems and proficiency in interpreting P&IDs.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and standards in the mechanical engineering field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
